Annual UN Day Meeting


Dear Friends of the United Nations,

The Gainesville Chapter of the United Nations Association invites you to join us for our annual UN Day Meeting on Thursday, 23rd October from 9:00am – 2:00pm at the Gainesville Woman’s Club.

Our theme this year is “Youth and the United Nations: The World We Want”.

Our UN Day Chair is City Commissioner Randy Wells.  A Panel Discussion by representatives of the University of Florida, Santa Fe College and Eastside High School Model UN Clubs will address the topic “From Millennium Development Goals to the Post-2015 Development Agenda”. 

Laura Giroux, UNA-USA Membership Director, will be the Keynote Speaker.

If you have any foreign money left over from your travels, please bring it as a donation to UNICEF’s ‘Change for Children’.
