Dear Friend of Gainesville Commission on the Status of Women:
On behalf of the Education Committee of the Gainesville Commission on the Status of Women, Inc., I would like to invite you and your organization to become a sponsor of the Awards Ceremony that is held in conjunction with the celebration of Women’s History Month in March. We would very much appreciate a sponsorship donation of $25 to help support the activities of GCoSW. If you would like to be a sponsor and have your name listed in the program, please send your check to GCoSW, c/o Carol Willis, Education Chair, 3626 SW 19th Street, Gainesville, Florida 32608 by February 25, 2014.
GCoSW presents the Ida B. Wells/Elizabeth Cady Stanton Award to two outstanding women in the community who dedicate themselves to work for women and civil rights here in Gainesville and Alachua County. In past years, some of these recipients may have been members of your own group.
This year the Women’s History Month Awards Ceremony, which is held at the invitation of President Kent Fuchs at the President’s House at the University of Florida, will be held on Monday, March 16th, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. I encourage you to show your support for these women who do so much for our community.
If you have any questions regarding this year’s celebration or your sponsorship, please contact me at 376-7074 or email@example.com. GCoSW is a 501(c)(3) organization.
